It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the 18th Biennial Congress of the Australian Institute of Physics incorporating the 27th AINSE Plasma Science Conference. The Congress will be held from 30 November to 5 December 2008 at the The University of Adelaide, close to the central business district of the City of Adelaide.

The Congress will bring together physicists from around Australia and south-east Asia. Plenary and keynote lectures by world-leading researchers, both national and international, will ensure a vibrant and exciting program. The five day scientific program is planned in association with a trade exhibition and opportunities for all delegates to enjoy pre and post conference tours to some of South Australia's major attractions.
