On-line registration has closed.  Please registerr on-site at Elder Hall, University of Adelaide 2.00pm-6pm Sunday 30 November and from 8.00am Monday 1 December 2008.

Member Registration Rate - Affiliate/Cognate Societies

Unfunded Retiree Registrations

 

An unfunded retiree registration is defined as not being supported by an institution i.e. a visiting fellow with grant in university.

 

Catering during the Congress

 

The Congress registration fees include morning tea Monday 1 December to Friday 5 December; afternoon tea Monday 1  to Tuesday 2 December and Thursday 4 December and light finger food (e.g. pies, pasties, pizza etc) during Poster Sessions Monday 1 - Tuesday 2 December and Thursday 4 December. Fees do not include lunch.  Light lunches will be available for purchase in the catering area and there are a wide range of eateries within 5-10 minutes walking distance.  Details will be available at registration.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

 

All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations postmarked on or before Friday 14 November 2008 will incur a fee of $100. No registration refunds will be made for cancellations postmarked after this date. 

 

The Conferences Organisers reserve the right to change dates, program and speakers without notice due to circumstances beyond their control. 

 

Insurance  

 

Insurance, including medical cover and expenses incurred in the event the Congress is cancelled, is your responsibility. We recommend you discuss your insurance cover with your travel agent. The policy should include loss of fees/deposits through cancellation of your participation in the Congress or through the cancellation of the Congress itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Congress Secretariat will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.

 

Child Care

 

The University of Adelaide - Adelaide Campus Childrens Centre 

The centre is available for use by staff, students and the general community. Full-time, part-time and occasional care is provided. The centres are open Monday to Friday, but closed on all public holidays. Adelaide Campus Childrens Centre caters for children aged 3 months to school age. Priority is given to staff and students of the University of Adelaide, North Terrace Campus. Session Times: 8.00am - 6.00pm full day; 8.00am - 1.00 pm morning; 1.00pm - 6.00 pm afternoon.

The following venues can provide child care if a vacancy exists on the day. 

 

City Child Care Centre 104 Gilbert Street Adelaide 24 hour child care and 32 Norman Street Adelaide 8212 2377 (both locations) 8.00am to 6.00pm. Grey Ward Children's Centre 253 Wright Street Adelaide 8231 9195 7.45am-5.45pm occasional care for children upto 5 years.

If you require disability specific facilities, please notify the secretariat by indicating on your registration form.

In the event of industrial disruptions, the Congress Organisers cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred by delegates. The program is correct at the time of printing, but the Congress Organisers reserve the right to alter the program if and as is deemed necessary. 

 

Liability 

 

The Organising Committee and/or Congress Organiser shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the Congress. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
